Omnishelter ® present its range of modular shelters, i.e. shelters
wich are supplied completely disassembled for erection on site.
|
|

Modular shelters represent an effective alternative to standard
monolithic shelters when transportation costs have an high impact
on the overall site costs, or when the access to a site is particularly
difficult thus making impossible the use of standard transportation
means.
This is specially true in
cases of roof-top installations where the positioning of a monolithic
shelter can be carried out only by using special cranes, which are
subject to many restrictions due to their impact on local traffic
and installation costs.

| |
|

Thanks to their easy transportability in
knocked-down configuration, modular shelters can be placed on high
buildings without the need for special installation methods and
arrangements. In addition, their modular construction requires no
highly skilled installation personnel and greatly reduces the amount
of time required for their assembling.
For large scale projects, Omnishelter ® provide for their modular shelters specially designed bulk packing
which significantly reduces the freight costs.

Materials
Omnishelter ® design modular
shelters in order to make on site erection quick and easy. Aluminium
extruded structural members, with Omnishelter ® proprietary designs,
are largely used in order to guarantee after installation the
same degree of stiffness and durability, normally available for
monolithic shelters.
Watertightness
Watertightness which is
normally an important factor with standard shelters, is of a particular
relevance for modular shelters. By use of friction joints and
sealing gaskets, Omnishelter ® are in a position to guarantee the
highest degree of environmental protection and watertightness
for its range of modular shelters.
